The Secret of Monkey Island (cd)

... Referred to a recent "special editions" of the first Monkey Island which came out in cd-rom from 1992 (USA) and 1996 (Spain).

The biggest difference is that the interface SCUMM is the monkey island 2 (the most beautiful, with drawings of objects in the inventory)

I found this unusual version of the monkey island by the network. It lacked the music (original audio cd), who also managed to find on the internet "ogg vorbis" with idea of being reproduced under emulation on ScummVM (included for PC and PocketPC).

In addition, the rose that the game originally included tools that would sound (not music) in Windows XP without ScummVM. (I tried not)

I have seen (and I have seen comments around) for the realization of this release, the game was translated again (at least in part) with what notareis slight differences with other versions. Nothing major. Swordmaster is called "the master sword."

I've also got the Monkey2, manuals of the two games in pdf format, a couple of catches, and some guides (walkthroughs).

PS: The song number "5" I was stuck in the pda but not in the computer (the map of MELEO). I do not know why.

PD2: It is possible that the monkey2 inevitably fail at some point due to a bug in the file. My fault. I ve long ago and has deteriorated. If you happen, download another version with no matter what. They are all equal.

PD3: If you want to play with ScummVM in the Nintendo DS, you've got to convert music to wav, with the following parameters:
Compression: IMA ADPCM
Samplerate: 22,050 Hz
Channels: Mono

I recommend the program CDex for the compression (see post # 9)
